Massive sinkhole in New Zealand exposes earth from 60,000 years ago

A massive 6-story sinkhole opened in New Zealand last week after days of heavy rain. The sinkhole is one of largest ever spotted in the country - so big that it exposed earth from the Paleolithic era. The astonishing fissure is 200 meters long, 20 meters deep and 5 meters wide. Farmers from a dairy farm in New Zealand woke up earlier this week to a sinkhole unlike anything they've ever seen. The farm has had 9 'serious' sinkholes, also called tomos in New Zealand.
