The deadly virus Ebola has returned to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the location of the first documented case of Ebola in 1976, which has experienced nine outbreaks of the virus since then. The latest outbreak of Ebola has struck the town of Bikoro in northwest DRC, in which there have been twenty-one suspected cases of the virus.
