10.3 million people are employed in the renewable energy industry

For the first time ever, the number of jobs in renewable energy has passed the 10 million mark, according to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). 10.3 million people are working in renewable energy, with 60 percent of the jobs in Asia.
