Kenyan activists are using human poop to make affordable cooking fuel

In Kenya, Africa, where resources are scarce and nearly half of the population lives below the poverty line, dried poop briquettes are providing a clean cooking solution to many families. Such has been made possible by Nakuru Water and Sanitation Services Company, which takes in truckloads of sewage from septic systems and pit latrines and transforms the waste into safe, economical briquettes.
