Germany is electrifying part of the autobahn to cut freight emissions

Semi trucks are massive energy hogs - that's why Germany is helping change that with electric highways. We rely on trucks to get all of the goods we need from one place to another, but all of those semi trucks spew a lot of pollution - at least 12.5 percent of all emissions in the US.
