Massive new data center to be built in chilly Norway to offset energy use

The world's largest data center is set to be built in northern Norway, and will be completely reliant on renewable energy sources. American-Norwegian data company Kolos has partnered with architecture design firm HDR to finance and design the center which will utilize the cold climate and low humidity to meet its cooling demands. Data centers require huge amounts of power due to their cooling demands. What better place for such a facility than a fjord that sits within the Arctic Circle....
