Futuristic play pod helps revitalize Amsterdam's vanishing paddling pools

A large pebble-shaped object recently emerged from Amsterdam's Oosterpark paddling pool, designed by famous Dutch architect Aldo van Eyck. The new structure, dotted with climbing holes and equipped with integrated sprayers, was conceived by architecture firm Carve as an addition which would help Oosterpark become a kids magnet once again.
