Trump administration halts study on health risks of living near coal mining sites

The Donald Trump administration seems to be plugging its ears and closing its eyes against the mention of any health risks of residing near coal mines. His Department of the Interior recently shut down a study on potential health impacts for people living close to coal mining sites in Central Appalachia, citing a changing budget. The Sierra Club's Beyond Coal campaign representative Bill Price told The Washington Post, "It's infuriating that Trump would halt this study...that people in Appalachia...
