Dutch engineers test floating island to combat rising sea levels

As a result of climate change which is propelled by mankind’s unsustainable habits, sea levels are rising and land is becoming even more scarce. In The Netherlands, specifically, this is a sobering reality considering two-thirds of the country is situated below sea level.
