After over a decade's long battle the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) has finally scored a victory in securing the ban of the pesticide chlorpyrifos. It was announced yesterday that the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has issued a court order to the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to ban the chemical agent due to neurodevelopmental effects.
