Bolivia creates a nature reserve for world's rarest macaw

The Blue-throated Macaw is one of the most critically endangered species on the planet with only about 300 remaining in the wild. The species of parrot is indigenous to Bolivia where Asociación Armonía has partnered up with the American Bird Conservancy, the International Conservation Fund of Canada, the IUCN Netherlands and the World Land Trust to create the first protected area for the imperiled macaw.
