'World's biggest air purifier' operating in China

What has been called the world's largest air purifier by its operators is now up and running in the city of Xian in Shaanxi province, China. The 100-meter (328 feet) tall tower has already improved the local air quality, according to Cao Junji, the scientist in charge of the project, and could prove to be a valuable tool in China's fight against urban air pollution.
