Ice melting due to climate change in Norway reveals pre-Viking artifacts

Mountain ice is melting because of climate change in places like Norway, and an unexpected benefit is that researchers have uncovered archaeological finds. A team led by Lars Pilø of the Oppland City Council recently published their discoveries on artifacts related to reindeer hunting in Royal Society Open Science, and Pilø wrote in a blog post, "This is a new and fantastic archaeological record of past human activity in some of the most remote and forbidding landscapes."
