This is one of the hottest places on Earth - and it just snowed there

A desert town known as the "gateway to the Sahara" in Algeria - one of the hottest places on the planet - is covered in snow. Ain Sefra got somewhere between 1 and 15 inches of snow (depending on which source you rely on) last Sunday, and this snow didn't just land and melt away.
