Virtual reality helps scientists plot the ideal urban green space

Virtual reality (VR) doesn't only offer an escape into fantastical images. North Carolina State University researchers employed VR for exploring different types of urban green spaces and how they impact a person's sense of safety. The techniques they drew on could help landscape designers of the future design green spaces or improve existing parks to help city dwellers gain restorative benefits of nature. Related:
