Teen replants hundreds of mangroves that were destroyed by Hurricane Irma

18-year-old Theo Quenee saw Hurricane Irma's devastation in Florida firsthand, and realized mangroves could take a hit. So he started growing the plants — 524 to start — for replanting, Mother Nature Network reported. After seven months, he began transplanting the mangroves to a sand bar and mud flat in Miami.
