Drones help archaeologists find dozens of undiscovered Nasca lines in Peru

Peruvian archaeologists recently uncovered impressive new Nasca lines in Peru's Palpa province. Drones assisted them in the discovery of over 50 new examples, and in surveying locally-known geoglyphs for the first time, National Geographic reported. While the Nasca culture, around between 200 to 700 AD, was responsible for some of the lines, the archaeologists also think the earlier Topará and Paracas cultures could have carved others between 500 BC and 200 AD.
