Like the Russian Matryoshka doll, this dome-shaped facility for the reproduction of forestry material houses another building inside its shell. Architecture studio Philippe Samyn and Partners designed it as an utilitarian structure that maximizes its usable surface area, while adopting a minimalist exterior appearance. The facility, located at Marche-en-Famenne in the heart of the Ardennes Forest in Belgium is dedicated to the treatment process of sylviculture grains coming from the Walloon Region....
