Couple buys 100% sun-powered home built for the Solar Decathlon

The MiSo house is a net zero home which runs completely on solar power. 660 square feet green energy machine After debuting in the 2005 Solar Decathlon event, the MiSo House has been on display as an exhibition in the Michigan's Matthaei Botanical Gardens. It was meant to be mobile, and self-sufficient using solar energy collected by rooftop solar panels to create electricity and heat for the home.
