Australia to cull over two million feral cats by 2020

They may look adorable and fuzzy, but Australia is officially at war with feral cats. The country's government just passed a new initiative to kill over two million untamed cats over the next year, cutting their numbers from six to four million. While killing such a large number of feral cats may seem excessively cruel, there are good reasons why Australia is culling their population. These free-ranging cats were brought to the continent in the 1600s and now cover over 99 percent of the country....
