A surprising and experimental pocket of nature has popped up in the middle of a heavily trafficked intersection in Copenhagen, Denmark. Danish architect Simon Hjermid Jensen of SHJWorks recently unveiled “Biotope,” a sculptural pavilion that houses a microcosm of plants and insects.
