Australia's rampant deforestation is killing koalas

Deforestation is killing koalas in Queensland, Australia. The Guardian reported according to projections, in around 15 years, up to 2030, three million hectares of forest in eastern Australia could be bulldozed — and koalas are suffering for it. World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Australia found in the course of four years, between 2012 and 2016, bulldozing of trees killed at least 5,183 koalas in Queensland.
