Keystone 1 oil pipeline leaks 210,000 gallons days ahead of Keystone XL permit decision

210,000 gallons of crude oil seeped out of the TransCanada-owned Keystone 1 pipeline this week - mere days before Nebraska's Public Service Commission is set to make a decision on whether or not to grant a permit for the Keystone XL pipeline. The first Keystone pipeline, running from Canada through the Great Plains, leaked oil southeast of Amherst, South Dakota.
