Our plastic packaging is polluting the planet, leading some people to work for more eco-friendly alternatives. One such enterprise is Indonesia-based Evoware, which makes food packaging out of an unusual material: seaweed. Their seaweed-based packaging lasts for two years on the shelf. And instead of clogging our oceans, the packaging can break down in several ways, such as dissolving in warm water - and humans can even eat it. Related:
