Student-built solar-powered tiny home represents new vision for the American dream

The future of tiny home is looking very bright. A team of students from Sacramento State, working under the name Sol Vespiade, have designed and built a beautiful 400-square-foot self-sustaining home. A group of graduate and undergraduate engineering students, Sol Vespidae are building a 400-square-foot self-sustaining home for the SMUD Tiny House Competition.
