This beautiful home in Portugal was inspired by a child's drawing

This gorgeous monolithic house in Portugal, designed by Filipe Saraiva Arquitectos, uses modular design to stay true to the simplicity of a child’s drawing of a house. Its geometry and materials don’t only reflect the archetypal image of a home– they also allow for optimal energy performance and lower maintenance costs.
