The electric vehicle (EV) movement could receive a major boost from a lithium battery that can charge up in a snappy six minutes and offer a 200 mile range for compact EVs. Toshiba recently announced their next-generation SCiB lithium-ion battery, with an anode comprised of a different material to charge up so rapidly.
