Worlds tallest sandcastle rises in a German landlocked city

Great sandcastles aren’t only found at the beach. The landlocked German city of Duisburg just nabbed the official Guinness title for the world’s tallest sandcastle, beating out the previous record holder in the Indian state of Odisha. Commissioned by travel company Schauinsland-Reisen, the 16.68-meter-tall (54.72 feet) sandcastle is a magnificent sight to behold and was completed in just 25 days.
