The world is close to annihilation according to the iconic Doomsday Clock

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists’ Science and Security Board has announced that the iconic Doomsday Clock is remaining at two minutes to midnight because of the dangers of climate change and the lack of progress on nuclear risks. Midnight on Doomsday is a symbolic point of annihilation, and the iconic clock is as close to this point as it was at the height of the Cold War in 1953.
