Only 13% of Earth's oceans remain untouched by humans for now

Only 13% of the planet's oceans are unaffected by human activities such as fishing and pollution according to a study from the Wildlife Conservation Society. This comes after studies in January and February revealed dead zones of marine wildlife quadrupling since the 1950's and industrial fishing areas now covering half the world's oceans. The study, published in Current Biology and executed in tandem with the University of Queensland, has completed the first systematic analysis of the Earths's blues...
