Just in for the 30th Anniversary of Discovery Channel's popular Shark Week, an interactive map showing the interaction of 45 sharks tagged between 2012 and 2018 with commercial fishing vessels. The map, featuring over 150,000 miles of chartered shark territory and movement in the Northwest Atlantic Ocean seeks to shed light on the perilous environment in which the sharks manoever on a daily basis. Approximately 100 millon sharks are killed each year, some intentionally and others by accidental bycatch....
