Decrepit lumberjack shack transformed into a beautiful retreat with minimal site impact

A decrepit lumberjack’s shack has been transformed into a beautiful light-filled weekend getaway just outside of Montreal. Local studio YH2 led the renovation of the shack, renamed La Colombière, turning the simple one-story building that lacked running water into a cozy three-story retreat with all the luxuries of home and minimal landscape impact.
