Climate change is killing reindeer in the Arctic

A new Arctic Report Card from the US National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has revealed that the wild reindeer - or caribou - population has plummeted by more than half during the last two decades. According to the report, the impact of climate change in the Arctic has resulted in the reindeer population falling from 5 million to 2.1 million.
