LA City Council unanimously agrees to ban the sale of fur

The Los Angeles City Council made a historic vote on Tuesday by unanimously agreeing to illegalize the sale of fur. The meeting resulted in a direct order to the L.A. City Attorney who is responsible for penning the formal policy outlining the new law. The document is expected to surface sometime next month and will effectively ban fur beginning two years from the date of its approval.
