When it comes to snow, white is the color we want to see. Yellow snow, dirty snow...not so much. Pink snow is more of a rarity; although it's found around the world, pink isn't a color we typically associate with snow. While it may be pretty, it turns out it's not a color we should want snow to be as the climate changes. Pink snow is caused by algae that prompts glaciers to melt quicker.
