Outdoor recreation in New York City could get a major boost with the completion of the 32-mile Manhattan Waterfront Greenway. $100 million in the mayor's budget will go towards finishing the esplanade traveling around Manhattan, allowing people to walk and bicycle on the edges of the city by the water.
