Wind power supplied 43.6% of Denmark's energy in 2017

Denmark set a new wind energy record in 2017, obtaining nearly half of their power from wind. The renewable source supplied 43.6 percent of electricity consumption - beating the prior record of 42 percent in 2015, according to Danish Energy. In just a few years, in 2020, the country could obtain 50 percent of power from wind. Renewable energy is supplying more and more electricity in Denmark. Related:
