The Self-Excavation Hurricane House is designed to cleverly use the hurricane’s strength to withstand extreme wind loads. Margot Krasojević Architects designed the building to move with the hurricane, yet provide enough resistance and weight, to dig itself into its own excavated engineered landscape.
