Recently, the company revealed the cost of the eco-friendly solar tiles, and they have a price tag of just $21.85 per square foot. That’s nearly 20 percent less than a normal roof — even without factoring in the energy savings. The sought-after Tesla Solar Roof tiles are made of glass layered over a photovoltaic substrate as a replacement for traditional roofing materials....
