Shanghai is planning a massive 100-hectare vertical farm to feed 24 million people

International architecture firm, Sasaki, has just unveiled a spectacular 100-hectare urban farm set amoung the soaring skyscapers of Shanghai. The Sunqiao Urban Agricultural District, will be a mega vertical farming laboratory that will be used not only for growing, but for innovation, interaction, and education.
