New graphene sieve can remove even small salts from seawater

Wonder material graphene now has a new use: as a filter removing salts from water so it's safe to sip. While scientists have been eyeing graphene-oxide membranes for better filtration - and even used graphene to filter large salts and nanoparticles - now University of Manchester scientists have made membranes that can sieve common salts out of water.
