Habitat LA and SCI-Arc students complete an affordable, eco-friendly home for a U.S. veteran

Developed over the course of a full academic year, IVRV House was designed during SCI-Arc’s fall semester, followed by final documentation in the spring semester, and constructed during the summer semester. The three-bedroom, two-and-a-half bath home was completed at 1232 W. 101st Street in the West Athens neighborhood. U.S. Army veteran Belete Belhu will purchase the home at an affordable price and live there with his family. Related: Team SCI-Arc and Caltech’s Transforming DALE House...
