A half-timbered house in the Swiss Alps saved from near ruin

The architects preserved the two street-facing facades and a vaulted cellar. Parts of the building had to be demolished and built anew, mimicking their original form. Three apartments were created between the north facade that features a filigree truss and mutin window, and the south facade that offers beautiful views of the mountainous landscape.
