The United States wastes a whopping 30-40 percent of food every year. That's right, in 2010 the USDA reported that the country threw away 133 billion pounds (or $161 billion worth) of food. You might just be surprised, however, at how many fun dishes you already have the tools to make a satisfying meal within the fridge already....
