Study finds 90 percent of table salt contains microplastics

According to a new study that looked at sea, rock, and lake salt, 90 percent of the table salt brands sold around the world contain microplastics. Several years ago, we discovered that microplastics were in sea salt, but we didn’t know how extensive the geographical spread was until now.
