Humans may not have put boots down on another planet yet, but we've discovered thousands of exoplanets out there in the cosmos — and the European Space Agency (ESA)'s next science mission could give us new insight into some of those celestial bodies. They just selected the Atmospheric Remote-sensing Infrared Exoplanet Large-survey (ARIEL) mission from three candidates to launch what Nature described as the "world's first space telescope dedicated to studying the atmospheres of exoplanets." ...
