Green-roofed Cantilever House floats above the Malaysian rainforest

This green-roofed house inspired by industrial architecture floats over a sloping site in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Architecture firm Design Unit Sdn Bhd envisioned the Cantilever House as a "forest" of steel columns that would enhance the feeling of weightlessness, while relying on Passive House design features to minimize the building's impact on its lush natural surroundings.
