If any politicians still want to claim climate change is a hoax, the Great Barrier Reef offers some dramatic evidence of its reality. Scientists have been monitoring coral bleaching in the reef for some time now, and already a 2017 mass bleaching event doesn't bode well for the health of the reef which is grappling with warmer sea temperatures.
