The world's largest offshore wind farm will operational next year

Instead of looking across the ocean and seeing oil rigs on the horizon, soon we could be seeing more offshore wind farms. As more companies see the potential of offshore wind, they've ignited a "global race" to build wind farms. So far the winner is Norwegian company Statoil, who will be building what's currently the biggest offshore wind farm in the world near Scotland. The Hywind Scotland Pilot Park wind farm will be comprised of five turbines generating six megawatts of power each....
