This terrifying glass walkway in China cracks as you step on it

Would you trek across this “cracking” glass walkway? In the Taihang Mountain range, in China’s northern Hebei Province, there is a frosty glass walkway that gives visitors a memorable experience. The skywalk is approximately 266 meters long and is located 1,180 meters off the ground. Somewhere in the middle, however, there is a high-tech panel with the “special effect” of breaking glass. Northern Europes largest aquarium unveiled for former Oslo airport site

Aquariums are always good fun for families, but the New Aquarium slated for the outskirts of Oslo is sure to bring in architecture and design lovers too. London studio Haptic Architects unveiled renderings for a curvaceous aquarium modeled on local “svaberg” rock formations that hugs the waterfront and offers new public spaces, including an accessible roof. Beijing's five-star, LEED-certified Hotel clat is a green as it is swanky

Worlds first negative emissions power plant opens in Iceland

Go, Iceland! On Wednesday, the nation flipped the switch on the world’s first power plant that eliminates more CO2 than it produces. The pilot program, which is operated by Climeworks, can remove an estimated 50 metric tons of CO2 from the air each year. The gases aren’t just contained; rather, they are turned into limestone where they will remain for at least one million years.
